If you already visited it, go to Galleria dell’Accademia, it is home to one of the world’s most impressive works of art: Michelangelo’s “David.” At 17 feet (5.2 meters) tall, the famous statue of the biblical hero is an overwhelming sight and a masterpiece of Renaissance art. If you are a fan of Dante, there is a museum and the church where his loved Beatrice is buried. After a busy day take a drink in Piazza Signoria before going back to Rome.
